Fisherman’s Market Oceanwise certified pink salmon is wild and sustainably caught in British Columbia. It has light rose-coloured flesh and a mild delicate flavour. Not only is it delicious, but it’s also versatile, tasting great with marinades and rubs. Our pink salmon is pristine and comes from the best runs of fish possible. Retain moist, tender salmon by using the skin as an insulator from the heat. Rather than cooking your fillet equally on each side, we suggest cooking it more on the side with the skin down.

Fishmonger tips: leftover salmon is delightful when added to salads or in a sandwich. In order to get the most from your salmon, avoid reheating it as it often ends up drying out.

Pink salmon is high in Omega 3’s, low in saturated fats and calories, and abundant in Vitamin A, C, D, E, Niacin and Vitamin B-12.

Fun fish fact: pink salmon do not eat while they travel inland to their spawning grounds, and after they spawn, they die.
