4 x 6oz Fisherman’s Market sablefish portions

1/2 cup sushi soy sauce

1/2 cup plum sake

1/3 cup white sugar

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 clove garlic, minced

2 tbsp ginger, minced

Finely chopped green onions (for garnish)

Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
DIRECTIONS

Prepare Sauce: Mix all ingredients (except the fish) in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil, then simmer until reduced by half and thickened.

Broil Sablefish: Brush the sauce over the sablefish portions and broil for 3 minutes. Remove from the oven, brush again, and repeat 2 more times for a total cook time of 9-12 minutes.

Garnish: Top the cooked sablefish with finely chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
